Trailokya Nanda Became The Hero of Dhrubatara Cup
Indian player Trailokya Nanda of ELO 2099 got the winner trophy of Dhrubatara Cup Open Fide Rating Chess Tournament. In the final & 10th round of the event he drew the game with Nepalese veteran Singeshwor Das of Saptari District, and received 15 thousands rupees along with the trophy. He made 8.5 points from the 10 rounds. Nanda is also the runner up of the Lalitpur Cup Int'l Chess held on 2010 in Lalitpur District.
Naveen Tandukar of Sankata Club placed second with 8 points. He beat Krishna Thapa of Makawanpur District on the last round. He got 10 thousand rupees. Rakesh Rauniyar of Macchindra Club Kathmandu placed 3rd with 7.5 points.
